well...I'm not a John Denver fan...so I'd never try to learn that one, but if it makes you happy, have fun

Neither am I. It was just natural progression, because it seems to be the easiest song to learn which involves only using the A, D and E chords ie the chords I actually know.

check out http://www.guitartabs.cc/home.php there's a ton of stuff on there that's good and easy...and they have a page that lists every chord and how to play it, it's very handy

Congrats. With a decent blues grounding you can go on to play Rock and Jazz no probs.

Bb min7 is the way forward though. It's my favourite chord.
