blade runner?
so i finally saw the whole movie and now im wondering: whats so brilliant about it?
at the very best i would classify it as average, so why do people call it THE sifi-movie?

overrated pile of nonsense with a good ending. If it weren't for the ending people would have ignored it for the steaming heap of brown turd it is underneath it all.

the film I thought wasn't amazing.

although you are ignoring the deeper issues which it is trying to address.

great.

but the film misses out the bit about the status surrounding live animals, well I think it does.
Can't remember really not seen it for a bit.
Anyway, if I remember rightly this was a large part of the message of the book.

not seen the directors cut I don't think or maybe its the directors cut that I have seen and not the original ?

It's a fine example of Film Noir, as is The Usual Suspects.

Of course, the DC of Blade Runner is infinitely superior.
