I felt so sorry for that soldier who looked like Bloomers.
The poor bugger.
Edit: I felt sorry for him because of the way he died, not because he looked like Bloomers.
It ended all too happily for my liking. That Irish **** should've been killed.
But g00d, nonetheless.

He did in the alternative ending on the DVD version.
Where he was replaced with a chicken.

The nice ending wouldn 't bother me usually... but it seemed too... rushed.
Like they couldn 't be arsed putting the same amount of effort into the end as they did throughout the rest of the film.

I can tell you the whole story if you like, and when it comes out in your country you can check to see if I 'm right.

These guys and a girl break into an primate reasearch laboratory and let loose the apes, who happen to be infected with a virus known as Rage. The apes attack them and they all get infected too.
Twenty eight days later, a guy wakes up in a hospital. He wanders around an abandoned London city looking for whomever. He doesn't know what happened.
He walks into a church. A priest infected with Rage comes out and goes to attack him. He smacks the priest in the face with a plastic bag full of cans of fizzy drinks. He then runs.
A bunch of the "Infected" as they're called, follow him. Then suddenly these two people (a black woman and a white man) appear from nowhere and save his ass, managing to blow up a small portion of the city in the process.
They take him back to their hideout and he explains that he was a bicycle courier who was hit by a car, which is why he was in hospital. They tell him what happened to the city.
He says he wants to see his parents. They take him the next day. They're dead, of course, but they committed suicide. He cries a river and they all decide to spend the night there.
He gets up in the night and is attacked by two of the Infected. His companions manage to save him, but...
I'll leave it there.

I thought this was actually a pretty ace film. I have excellent taste in films, which combined with a good sense of style, and a high IQ, means that in all likelihood, this is a film worth seeing.
The ending was a bit poo though, not seen the DVD version, maybe that'll be better.

I really liked the film as well as the ending. The ending does have a certain message(at least the way i read it). THe suodntrack was also ace Godspeed Black Emperor ahve since decided not to let their songs be used in any more films though due to the only rason they agreed for this one was that Danny Boyle told them it would be a limited release(oops). The Grandaddy song is good too.
