Mazz, I have to disagree with you. Well, I agree with you if this was like 1 year ago etc. In rd 11/12. I have had the Luxury of being in FAnG(lol), Angels, Newdawn, and 1up all recent. In each I have been in a position to step back and observe in at least some point in my stay there. 1up quite frankly is not the best alliance any longer. Lets break it down:
What constitutes a Good alliance-
Good Morale/motivated players
Good Leadership/good DC/BC activity
Good member activity
Good/unselfish players
Good Solid goals
Great Coordination
Good Realness (Reality)

There are many more, but this is the bulk of what I feel a good alliance needs to be considered good. NOW, a Great alliance can still be great without many of these traits set forth. meaning, they can have **** all coordination, but have some of the most hardcore " I give a **** about my planet" player (RD 13 angels/RD 10.5 FAnG/RD 12 1up-left out RD 11 1up for a reason)
Now ofc 1 round does not make an alliance good, and also, 1 round does not make an alliance bad. Keep in mind I am speaking from my point of veiw.
1up- I love them, but they lack coordination/good morale/good unselfish players(only have a few) good solid goals, good member activity(this is based on comparison with Angels/FAnG/Newdawn) Good realness(reality), and though 1up has some of the best leaders in the ****ing game ever (i.e Sid/Mazz/even that guy zhil(though his leadership style is a tad eerie)) they lack good leadership.

Being in Newdawn for a few days, I was appauled that people still had normal chats with one another without using derogatory comments about the alliance or each other(I was told I was aggressive within the first 30 seconds because after being in 1up, I have become accustomed to immediatly jumping on the defensive). Incoming came, noone complained about it and I didnt see spam of "Who is dc'ing" like in 1up. I also didn't see any complaints about the DC doing his own calls and not doing other members calls (though I was only there for a bit, so noone probably cared to confied in me). I also saw HC activity. Chatting, saying corny jokes, basically just being around. I had issues and I was actually reffered to the right person for the task that I needed help with. i didn't have to wait a day or anything for the tech to come on etc. It seemed everyone knew what they wanted to do. GREAT motivation. Every member was also very realistic for what I saw. Noone really bragged, and amost of them realized that they had not reached thier peak yet, and were still going strong to reach a goal that the alliance had. Thier goals were realisteic, and even I knew these goals after only being there for a few hours. Coordination was 'ACE', and attack strategy was actually better than 1ups.

being in angels was a bit more unothodox. But after seeing 1up in RD 13/14/15, Angels STILL has many things that 1up does not have. Activity, leadership presence, good quality arrogance(quality being that the arrogance helped them play better, rather than make them slack off and not prepare for the round). They also have great players. You don't know many of them because the HC have excellent member control( obviously this is ruling out KJ and Alki). Realistic positive goals, and they reacted immeditaly and realistically to pressing situations
that could possibly be detrimental to the alliances round. A DC NEVER complained about DC'ing to long(though it isn't a fair comparison because irvine has been known to DC for a week straight, hehe) and I never saw anyone complain about being roided. I always knew that everyone was online, and they had fleets out, it was never an issue of simply noone caring to check at night. Angels also has an excellent SMS system. You can only get about 3 or 4 1up players via SMS (public, ofc the "clicks" have each others sms, when lets say elvis wants cypher to come dc his/thier incoming).

I could go on for ages.

A few of you may say, "Chika you are shit, etc and you veiw is shit". Me being shit, crap, gay, ugly, fat, nasty, stinky, idiotic, has nothing to do with your alliance not being the best alliance. i actually like most of the people in 1up, though I doubt the feeling is mutual. For a little levelness, I was also an ass in Angels, and a bit of an ass, though not on purpose, in Newdawn.

AT A MINIMUM, these 2 alliances are better than 1up.
So your statement should read as such

1up > Everyone besides Angels and Newdawn

I like when a poster "caters" to me. i get a bit of show-off room.
I told 1up HC Zhil "**** you", after he publicly tried to own me and tell me to shutup in channel. I then told him (same breath) that he might as well kick me, because he surely isn't anyone to tell me to shutup. "you were kicked from 1up". i think anyone would have kicked me cypher. Also, considering that I had not been remotely active, and had sent **** all defence, I think that edged HC on. Me being top 500 most of first half of round REALLY is an insider that I am not playing.
After a gal issue, I put my planet into Vacation mode (while in Newdawn). I logged in and exiled and landed in a very shit gal. Since I was barely playing anyway, I decided **** it and stayed in vacation. I was then removed from newdawn.
"noone liked you" has nothing to do with 1ups sms system. i like how you try to make it relate. 1ups sms system is very shit. You can't hold a straight face and say that it isn't.
In addition, I have played in 1up for 4 rounds, and I only completed 1 round with 1up. Being "kicked" from 1up really isn't a big deal to me. As you well know.

1. Give no value to a 1up membership after RD 12
2. Ofc noone liked me, I talked shit about the alliance daily, made heartless cry and leave private channel on many occasions. (really wasn't trying to avoid being kicked.
3. The only thing you did was to try to put 1up in a different class. Only hitting Exil is a shit political move. That falls under ""Good Realness (Reality)""
1up isn't very realistic and reacted WAY late to exil owning them. This is a check in the "Not so good alliance" block.

Ok. The kick. I have a history of taking the crap out of 1up alliance, in 1up alliance private channel. Fact, we all agree with that. I also have a history of making Heartless whine to HC, more than 4 or 5 times this round that I was at least informed of. You said yourself, you went to Sid. With this History, and the fact I had told you ****-off, and with the OTHER complaints, (you failed to mention these ) that were given about the entire situation, I was kicked with the message "you are not worth all the trouble you cause" This is what I linked my shit activity, blatant disregard for certain 1up members feelings, and constant complaints about me.

Additionally, you speak utter lies, under the assumtion that I am afraid to say what I said about other alliances.
Newdawn - I never said newdawn were noobs, I said they were to inactive, and did some horribly stupid things when we attacked them at the end of RD 14. Now wrather they think these things were stupid or not, I thought/think that these things were stupid. Newbs can't coast to 2nd place, and a comment of "ND are noobs", would not have been accurate. As for the inactivity bit. That was accurate for that portion of the round, as members gave up etc. The thing is, ND know of these things, that I have said, and most of them probably dislike me for it. I fail to see your reasoning for trying to add additional comments to "What is know/already been addressed.
Angels- ALWAYS said Angels have good players. I KNOW MOST OF THEM. I did however state that they were gay for not hitting Exil. But who didn't.

You must admit that I never asked for your defense, and that I never "tip-toed" around anyone or anything. The fact of the matter is, my initial post was about how/why 1up was no longer the best alliance. Your post said nothing in retrospect to this point, thus not really being needed.
