End of Round 60 and Round 61

Round 60
Round 60 - The Fruits of War finishes on 27th February at 20:00 GMT.
The End of Round Ceremony (EoRC) is scheduled for Friday, 27th February at 21:00 GMT for an hour in #planetarion on irc.netgamers.org (accessible via the com unit). It will consist of:
-interviews with the top players
-interviews with the top galaxy
-interviews with representatives of the top alliance
-the alliance competition (allcomp), where users will [tag] in their nickname for their alliance, and the winning alliance will win 3 credits.
Havoc will start at 09:00 GMT on Saturday, 28th February and continue until Thursday, 12th March at 20:00 GMT.
Havoc setup as follows:
-All researches completed
-500 million resources total (split over metal/crystal/eonium according to race)
-3000 asteroids total (split over metal/crystal/eonium according to race)
-30 of each factory, 30 wave amplifiers, 50 security centres and 30 of each refinery ADDED to each planet
-Fleets recalled
-XP kept
-Asteroid mining limits increased to 8 million asteroids total
-Maximum construction limit set at 800 constructions
-Ticks set at every 15 minutes.
-Alliance waiting time set to 0.


Round 61
Round 61 signups will open on Friday, 13th March 2015 at 20:00 GMT.
Submissions for Round 61's name is NOW OPEN - please e-mail suggestions to [email protected], with the subject "Round Name Suggestion". Submissions will be open until Saturday, 28th February, with the winner getting a free credit.
Round 61 Ticks will start Friday, 20th March at 20:00 GMT and continue for 7 weeks.

Changes for this round will be announced closer to the time but alliance limits and buddy pack sizes are planned to remain static. We are also planning on re-introducing multi-tick combat- please see below.


Round 61 Beta

Approximately the same time that havoc starts (possibly Sunday 1st March), we will be starting to trial multi-tick combat in beta, to allow players and alliances to get used to it and to tweak what we've barely seen in many rounds now. Players are welcome - #beta on NetGamers is the place to be!

Speedgame Returning

We will also be looking to re-introduce the free speedgame server with a set of older stats, basic bot planets (that just build ships) and single tick combat in the near future.
