And days go by and seasons turn and years pass.

And again and again you wonder when the opportunity will come.

Your chance to 'achieve greatness'.

And one day it arrives.

And your friend is talking to you.

And your friend is bemoaning his bad luck.

And your friend is saying:
'My washing machine broke down and it's gonna cost a fortune to replace'

And you see the opportunity.

And you 'go for it'.

And you say:
'Why didn't you just hit her?'



And there is a heavy silence which decends on the conversation.
