Top Ten Biggest Regrets
- Not backing Cardinal Ratzinger for Pope at 10/1 or whatever it was when every pundit (and by the look of the archive here, this board too) told me, advice which i passed on to all my friends
- Drugs. They are fantastic, but they destroy any wellbeing and mental capacity you have.
- Not trying it on with a particular girl the second day i met her, which would have saved me a painful 2 and a half years.
- Smashing my window a month ago and failing to get it fixed, resulting in my room being full of snow
- Falling out with around 10 different folk for what now seem like silly reasons. Not that i lack friends, i just tend to glorify the old ones (who doesnt?)
- Being anti-abortion puts me on the same side as the Christian right Im beginning to change my mind on the subject, but only as a sub-decision of my support for measures of population control.
- Not taking dental hygiene seriously until i was 16 or so. problems rectified to an extent now, but too many fillings where the damage was already done
- Buying an amiga with 200 games for £100 and playing it twice (i had a one week long "retro games" fetish)
- All the years i wasted watching television. You cant justify it with "its easy entertainment" crap, its just utterly utterly pish and stunts you as a human being. No one is above absorbing the crap on the idiot box.
- Making a ten point list when i obviously ran out of steam half way through

Your number one regret involves money?

Re: Top Ten Biggest Regrets
I've stopped regretting things since last year
I might regret how I let looks and appearances control my life when I was around 13-17
And all the girls related stuff i've done because of it
And being such a lazy twat since forever now

1. Taking Nortel Networking classes instead of Art class back 5 years ago.
Networking class was the reason I came across Planetarion, and thus these boards.

Re: Top Ten Biggest Regrets
I have very few regrets.
It might have been nice not to lose £5,000 last year in a single incident, but it doesn't matter much now.
Other than that, I can't really think of any.

I dont regret it, i found it bloody entertaining.
Pitting my wits against the local constabulary as they attempt to build a case with no physical evidence , THATS FUN!
(theyll never find the bodies. Im telling you now!)

Re: Top Ten Biggest Regrets
i try not to regret things, but rather to learn from them, which i know is trite but has been the only way i have been able to deal with certain events sucessfully in my past

Re: Top Ten Biggest Regrets
when i was 6 i should have taken FC Twente's and BWO's advice to join a footballclub (and not join a hockeyclub).
i also shouldn't have listened to Theam when he told me to start playing that "cool game called planetarion".
oh and i bought a few shit CD's when i was young and lacked taste.
