Common design practice dictates that you should make the emergency stop button big and red so that when you really need to stop the machinery you know immediately where to push. Making it green and tiny and having to explain what it is over and over again after accidents have already happened isn't the way to go.
So, why isn't the para up arrow the one that gives you a higher number. If it was that way there wouldn't be a need for all these threads about it.
