A guy (call him Nodrog for the sake of argument)
He bumps into an old School mate, and they get talking, after a while it becomes clear that his old school mate is Gay, as bent a nine bob note, a bender, he likes the brown.
So Nodrog says to him out of interest, have you got many friends who are Gay?

4) you have to learn the Club song.
Ok says Nodrog, np, I will come along this evening.
So later that day Nodrog goes along to the new Club, to meet up with his friend.
