Westend Plays
Well it was the first one I've been to last night. Got to my uncle's apartment (very grand!) by Warren Street, just opposite the LSE accomodation. Got ready, left for the Lyceum Theatre to watch Lion King. I loved it. Was sensational. The characters well portrayed, very humorous moments and excellent transitions from characters and stages. Well worth the money

Now, ITT, can you recommend anymore? I really loved the play but not sure what the PA:GD census will formulate. I don't really ever agree with film critics, even if I liked something they rated positively on.

I went to see 'His Dark Materials' at the National a few weeks ago. It was pretty good (for a play).

The last musical I was at was 'Saturday Night Fever' about 3 years ago, I don't go as often as I'd like :(
I love musicals! Not plays so much although I did see a decent portrayal of The Importance of being Earnest a few years back.

Mamma Mia (The Abba musical) is very good, said to be one of the best. I liked it anyway. There's a long wait if you want tickets though

Also saw The Producers, not great, OK.

Fame is said to be pretty good, though I haven't seen it. Not as good as Mamma Mia though.
