Can we have a table of the final scores please, im interested how this new idea panned out.. im guessing Norton (the odds on favourite) romped to the title.

Will you be aiming to expand this concept to other alliances in future rounds? Could it become the new way to rank Alliances? like Appoco was pondering.

I think it would nice if we all got on this SK wave of appreciation and maybe ended with a multi league player SK league format with Alliance (international ) tournaments throughout the round. Credits and mugs for prizes!!

Well, this is not 100% complete, it is just from whatever breps I have landed. Althou, it should be +/- a few similar to Nortons landings.

Starting from first land PT 66 and ending in last time I landed SK (that fired) in PT 1120
Unfortunatly I was not skilled enough to rush CRBS with upgrade like glorious leader Norton and his follower tobbe. So they had first land t44(?).

We were a solid core of 4-5 planets that could be counted on to send. We also applied the use of some high skilll tools and techqniques to adapt to the game play.

BC tools :

We are firm believers of a rock solid tool to properly BC our missions. This include !victim <alliance> and hitting 1-3 top planets, but also we used a highly developed, fairly high iq system of information exchange (PA Mail, often sendt to entire alliance tag).

We also accepted applications to become a destination for airlines - commonly people who applied by hitting Keara, Norton or Motti were included in the flight plan, we tried to distribute this evenly so we would not discriminate or be racist. We are after all firm believers of fair play and common courtesy.

Calcing system:

Calcing a land is also an important part of a strong attack group. Here we experienced that every member of the group, and in many occation others helped out as much as they could. We often had to have several people perform theese calculations to make sure the end result is as good as possible.

We developed a calcing technique that has the advantage it can be performed at any given point during the flight. We called this calcing technique for "Head Calcing" and it rely on several types of input, be it landing scan, jgp or the most commonly used option gut feeling upon setting PL. The end result was always in the end a firm LAND being called by most calcers.

The strength of headcalcing is the agility - you can perform the calc already before launching fleets, which saves you all the stress about calcing eta1. This was vital to manage to keep the pressure up during a full 7 week round without being completely burnt out.

Waves landed with SK : 85
Total constructions killed : 767
Average pr land : 9,02

In detail we killed:

In summary structure defence seems like a pointless building, it was just a matter of sending enough SKs and those had no effect.

We considered structure defence much like self SKing, seing you spend time making a strucutre that has no effect what so ever against us. It might only be useful to block some random dude who sends a few sks by accident of for lolz.

All in all we were happy with the round - we had good progression and once we got our FR SK fleets up and running were able to 2-3 fleet a big part of the round.

I think we also SKd 5 or 6 of the top10 planets final week.

Im having a big problem trying to understand what you are trying to accomplish with SKing, what seems to me, totaly random people.
I do like trying to increase the use of SKs, but to me this just seems like you are trying to ruin the round for people who have done you nothing.

SKing randoms is uninteresting. You should apply multiplying factors according the level of importance of the target to turns things more fun. Examples:
- top 1 to 10: 2.5 x
- Officer: 1.5 x
- HC: 2 x
- Known Def Leecher(a list could be made pre-round): 2 x
- Shaz / Irvine's gal: 3 x
- Irvine: 5 x

Also, some extra-points should be given for quests. Examples:
- first sking BB Forest, etc
- landing with sks only
- hattrick (3 consecutively fleets sking the same planet)
- sking someone who would sole cover the sks with no losses

They still had an effect; they prevented other structures from getting blown up while being cheaper to build than those.

I believe i said it above, but i can repeat:

- people roiding Norton, Keara, Motti
- people found in top 3 when doing !victim <alliance>
- people who in some way annoyed any of us launching on a regular basis

This is how we mainly picked destinations.

And on occations we took requests.
