Just an idea:
We have one poll asking about random galaxies, and one poll asking about overburn...
Everyone knows that random gals get owned, for the plain fact they're random, and everyone also knows that overburn attack/defence owns...
why not give random gals OB attack/def ? or something along those lines...since right now, it's basically just suicide...at least with OB def, random gals could help eachother out and such, and OB attacks, they have a chance to get some roids.

Random galaxies need to be given some advantage, and overburn might be a good thing, but after all the effort that went into getting it taken out it won't go back in for round 9.
The problem is that this advantage needs to be powerful enough to counteract the disadvantage of going random but not so strong that it gives random players a winning advantage.
Having larger galaxies has been mentioned, but this dilutes the minister bonuses, as they would be shared among more players.
I would propose a bonus (like the mininster bonuses) for all random planets, set initially at 5%, but which could be adjusted mid-round if random planets were falling behind or being too successful.

the point being that they don't do this in the first place and therefore this isn't an issue...
If people really feel the need to cheat then imo they clearly can't cope with life.
Winning is NOT everything fs!
Don't create mulitple accounts - it's not big, it's not clever, it's not in the spirit of the game and it will lead to you getting deleted.

Well obviously, random gal planets should only be able to send OB defense to other random gal planets. Problem solved.
