Firstly, I have read your whole initial post (I was bored etc)..

Regardless of what the manual says, you cant normally put more than 25mil in the gal fund. When you try, it tells you that you cant. You found a way round it, and tried it.

Therefore you were exploiting a bug to get around a rule in the game.

25 mil is max, end of story.
finding ways around it means you know it should not be possible officially but you found a way around it.

In the manual or not...not important.
You found a way around it aka needed to report it.

Be happy they didn't close all of the planets that participated.

cbk I still you and your gal had a unfair advantage doing this. 25 mill has been the most you can put into the fund or a fwe rounds now.

i'm surprised cbk managed to keep going for a couple of pages without anyome mentioning the part of the EULA that says the pateam can do what the fk they like to the database, i'd assume that includes removing a gal fund - whether people have abused a bug, cheated, spent their time helping old ladies accross the street or what.

I find this thread highly amusing if not least of all because the OP posted a long thread demanding satisfaction from PA team on an open forum and asked for no flames. Subsequently, as will happen on an open forum, people disagree and they are simply categorized as 'flaming'.

As has been said, getting around the 25mil limit which is a well known restriction and not unique to this round, is simply an exploitation of a bug. No different to that which was used last round to instantly recall fleets home. No different to the one in speed P******a which allowed me to double or triple my fleet in seconds. A bug and PA team have every right to not only correct the bug but also, with a nod to fairness, correct any imbalance created because people exploited it.

Simple as that really - play by the rules (whether you claim to know something about it or not) and you don't have a problem.

Imho, they foudn a bug and exploited it, and there lucky not to be deleted (not sure if they have been at time of wriring), and in theory, it shld be everyone in the gal who knew about the bug shld be deleted if PA team choose this harsh method

Punishment doesn't necessarily mean deletion.
Punishment can as well be "resetting the gal fund."
It could also be removing a certain amount of someone's fleet / roids / ressources.

If there's proof for every single issue, and if one single planet is being deleted for abuse of this bug, then yes, your statement is correct, half the players on top20 gals should be deleted.
