Dear Angels,

I was alerted to a horrible and scandalous rumour earlier today that you were "raped" by Exilition. I of course jumped to the defensive, dismissing this slander as lies and poppycock!

A quick trip down to good old Sandmans would confirm that I was right and this scoundrel was wrong, I thought.

But look!

A ~20% loss on Angels, in average size!

I had to make a hasty apology for doubting this informant, of course.

What I am curious to find out is; are you going to let this go lying down? You should get those asteroids back! They're rightfully yours! How dare Exilition make a mockery of Angels like this?!

Notice how we lost 11k roids, and gained quite some from our raid. So, we lost perhaps, what? 14k-16k roids? Do you see eXilition gaining 15k roids?

Does this not suggest there were more attacking alliances?

Despite that ouchy last night, I'd have to say angels are doing quite well this round. They came into things with the reputation of napping most things with legs, tentacles, and other such limbs; the reputation of needing to nap the top alliance to win; and the more questionable possibility of not being able to hold their own very well in pressure.

All three of those labels have been completely shattered imo... After taking batterings from exi, ND, and a fair number of the top 10 from time to time... They're still a force to be reckoned with and still a key factor in this round. They continually waged war with the 'alliance to beat' as exi has been called; and even though some bad nights have come into being for them, they appear to still be going strong with a fair amount of dedication and commitment from members/officers alike. Considering the amount of incs they must have had, I think I'm giving out some kudos to their DCs {as much as it pains me to complement irvine. } and members for still having the will to keep coming back and pounding the opposition.

I think sitting for about 15 minutes in their DC room would probably drive me crazy

Whatever the outcome... Gj angels on quite the impressive round
