Could we have it so that for BC/HC the in-game alliance mail section is highlighted when there are new messages, just like the planet mailing?

Could we also have it record who sent it, its a pain to find your officiers sending stuff out , forgetting to add their name and then you have to to look dumb when people ask you things about it and you cant even point them in the right direction

1st thing is done, 2nd thing we now do record that info, but i'm not sure displaying it is actually a good idea as the point is the mail comes from the alliance not an individual

Yeah but it could be tagged with the person's alliance nick, not their coords.

If we're going to get an e-mail type mail system in in the next round or two, we could have a sent box and it could be tagged on that?

Kal: I'm not asking for it to say the message came from ruler(x:y:z) rather something like an addition to the "message sent to all alliance member" line where it would say "by alliancenick!

that s a good idea - on the other hand you could just train your officers to sign posts, right?

tbh though anyone can be guilty of it, I have them a lecture and sent out some guidlines about using the alliance mail system as part of one of my regular 'newsletters' and proceded to break the first guideline by forgetting to sign it

It would be handy to be able to directly mail DC's for instance
Ive gotten plenty of defcallmails to my planet this round... it works very good

I believes I already said this in some other thread but it would be handy if
you could just enter someones nick in teh box (with a checkbox if u want to send to a guy who is not in the ally?) and then message him like that instead of entering the coords
