Re: CL qualifiers
Celtic: Marshall, Telfer, Varga, Balde, Camara, Zurawski (Maloney 60), Lennon, Petrov, Thompson (Aliadiere 66), Hartson, Sutton (McGeady 17)
Thanks for the most disgraceful result in my lifetime, you useless, shower of shite.
I just got back from work 5 minutes ago, didnt hear anything about how the game was going. I cant comment on the match itself because ive heard and seen nothing of it. What i can comment on however, is the team.
Marshall : Heroics in Barcelona dont disguise the fact you've became as prone to stupid mistakes as Douglas, kiddo. If you would learn to take a cross rather than just be a decent shot stopper like every other overrated keeper in the world, maybe youd be an average player.
Telfer : You're old and shit, and clearly like a pint with Strachan, before, during, and after the game. Dont you love it when managers bring all their old favourites with them regardless of ability or age.
Varga : Hello big shit slow defender. It seems like just yesterday people were prematurely heralding you as a success. Suddenly we all know why sunderland released you. Hes only good against strikers without pace, without strength, and without ability. And even then
Balde : Occasional european brilliance hasnt saved essentially a hired goon. Those slide tackles look lovely when they come off. Not so good when either you, or the opposition player is lying in a heap. No ball skills, no awareness.
Camara : Who are ya? Who are ya? Admittedly i havent even seen him yet, but forgive me for not being enthralled by a Man named Camara, released from Burnley, who has just made his debut in the most embarrassing celtic game i can ever remember.
Zurawski : Does he even want to be here? It took him long enough to sign. Then he misses a penalty on his debut and says he'll never take one again. Nice and committed mate. We're short a penalty taker too, the old firm get about 10-15 penalties a season in the SPL - what better way to make yourself a fan favourite? Idiot.
Lennon : No new good signings each year? Dont worry guys - weve resigned lennon again. Admittedly hes never had any pace or ability to lose, and has always just been a "workhorse", but for **** sake, hes getting older than old, and his time is pretty much up.
Petrov : Pretty much our one sellable asset because of his age and undeserved great reputation. Sometimes he makes lovely runs down the middle, scores from the edge of the box. Sometimes, that is. In reality its so rare you usually forget hes on the ****ing field
Thompson : It sucks to be hard on someone who 2 years ago was our best player and should have been playing regularly for england. But nowadays, hes just ****ing crap. He decided hed try and beat players, something he cant do, and his crossing has gone haywire. It also doesnt help hes been in my ****ing off license twice whilst celtic have been playing. Nice "Injury" chief.
Sutton : Hes never been a striker of great ability, what he does for you is work the opponents down, play well in the air, give his all (most of the time, when he gets grumpy he tends just to stalk a player and mope, swing his arms about). Ive no problem with the guy, you need workhorses, but considering we have NO ONE with any ability, his lumbering is more pronounced.
Hartson : The fat bastards good for a few dozen goals, but he gets tired too quick, he gets found out by any half decent defences, and again, Sutton/Hartson gives you the old Slow & Clumsy / Fat & Slow combination that all teams just ****ing crave playing against.
Maloney : Lets put it this way. You cant be a rising star for 5 years and not ever do anything. Shape up you little prick
Aliadiere : 4 games, 0 goals. "Hey hes from arsenal he must be great right". So great a team short a striker dont want him hanging around
McGeady : Fantastic ability on the ball, he jinks, he dodges, he can shoot too, and he makes nice runs. Pity it takes 100 of these runs for him to go anywhere, and he releases the ball even less often than Joe ****ing Cole.
I cant bring myself to do it personally, but Rangers were at 4/6 to win the title before tonight, though im sure itll have been cut drastically after tonights ritual spooning. Double it with chelsea and youve got yourself a moneymaker.
Feels good to be a hoop right now

Re: CL qualifiers
Celtic don't have to explain anything, they're just generally crap.

Petrzalka is part of Bratislava, thats why in some places they are called Artmedia Bratislava.
Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia. I've been there. It's nice.

Re: CL qualifiers
when did you go?
I went last summer and everything seemed quite new and clean.
I did only see the central areas, I'm sure over the Danube and further out it gets worse.

Re: CL qualifiers
It's probably cleaned itself up quite a lot in order to get entry to the EU.
I think Bratislava was the cheapest place I visited though. Nothing much to see there but pretty good for a day or so.

Re: CL qualifiers
Buda seemed nice, Pest seemed average. As a whole though it was pretty good.
We stayed in this very wierd little place there for very cheap. Full of Serbian dope smokers...
My favourite place was Dubrovnik, although I had a great time pretty much everywhere except Prague...

I went to the Czech Rep. and Hungary a few weeks ago, and Prague was great - I preferred it to Budapest. As for Bratislava, I can hardly comment as I only saw it on the train ride through, but it looked pretty shit.
