Re: Round 43 predictions
I predict xVx will be the early leaders, get attacked the same night by four different alliances and drop down to 5th. Then when they take the lead again the alliance they have a nap with will arrange the other alliances in the top 5 to attack them, then claim to be shocked that the nap ended before previously agreed. The rest of the forum will cry that nap protocol was breached as though there had been a serious criminal offence had taken place.
DLR will attack according to which alliance they think will get the most planet targetting incommings on any given night late round, knowing they can't be hit back. Apprime will be massively outnumbered at the start of the round. An alliance not expected to win will be victorious as two other alliances deem them to be the lesser of two evils.

I have never known app to backstab, they always been very clear about their intentions, they just rarely go the way people want them to

Re: Round 43 predictions
1. CT
2. xVx
3. ND
xVx will be the best alliance next round without a doubt.
Politics will be interesting with p3/DLR/Ins all playing important roles.
Apprime and the Apprime+ alliance will also contribute to politics but ego's and internal upheavals will mean neither will finish that high.

Very true - the same old alliances complaining of being backstabbed because they didnt win however the same alliances still have to team up 4/5 on 1/2 alliances to win - why not every alliance for itself and im sure xVx would win

That has happened for the last 10 rounds or so seeing as the standard in PA is so shockingly bad nowadays....

NGO 10th maybe if they dont just recruit anything that breathes, they may have had 40 members last round but they very rarely have more then 10 people on irc at any one time which is poor for 40 members

So if NGO get a decent command structure and active players they will finish tenth! Guess that could be said for any ally. I'll be amazed if they get either though. Suppose its a nice place for new players.

Re: Round 43 predictions
I have a feeling that this new alliance will be full of the best players that pa has atm.
Unfortunately the best players have the biggest egos and care more for there personal epenis than for the benefit of an alliance.
I hope eksero has someone that can control those animals, else I predict emo raging pt 600
finally my listing:
Team eksero and the best pals on earth
xVx
nd
ct
p3n
I'd love to see apprime in t5 but they are still taking a recovering break.

CT, TGV, ND, XvX
In no particular order as it depends who fences the best out of those 4, so if I had to i'd say ND/CT have best chance...

There is 2 Main factors to take into account.
Is Political Security ... if Eksero can negotiate the right deals/naps then nice job... however if this can't happen then it comes down to the Military side.
Military deployment is all about fleet logistics especially in a MT round.
http://pirate.planetarion.com/showpo...2&postcount=14
same principle with defence culture going to shit... (just ignore the comments on kenny as it doesn't apply in this case)
You can't afford to have lazy members not sending defence. If they don't pull their weight = no def ie their def calls get dropped point blank.
Make sure this is implemented early on, the longer the def culture goes to shit the harder it is to turn it around.
Make sure that they are incentives for the members to send defence to each other.
If you get members that are constantly roided ... for example it is the same folk who poach the defence fleets and its the same members who get roided. Then morale is going to go down (after all it is human nature) and some members start to question there isn't anything in it for me to send defence so why bother.
If the above is taken into account then the likelyhood of an another omega is reduced.

1 = eksero
2 = apprime

4 = nd
5 = xvx
rough guess but the top 5 could go anyway depending on fencing politics and previous round things to be resolved

Re: Round 43 predictions
i think
Ultorro this round is the 1 to watch out for. They have over 65 members, the rest are still not in tag. They got most active and experienced players (most who got kicked from app). Eksero and hasu dc's. Almost all xan ally. I doubt they will be omega v2. Their already got polotics advantage (pre-round fixed cooperation with DLR)
im guessing Ultorrent DRL will fight ct/nd/xvx at 1 point. Unless ct nd xvx can work together by then and if ultorro has not more backup it will be a nice fight. Ultorro weakness will be eksero's gal, if it will get incs all their def will be used to cover that gal.
Apprime will be a neutral ally with no enemies atm, with our small tag under 30 we will see how this round goes. If any1 wants to do diplomaycy with us u must talk to our special envoy Yoshika. GL and peace out

Why?
Members will always predict they will win, thats the point in playing.
HC will prob rarely, if ever, post on these threads unless there is a political reason to do so, (such as stay small etc and untargetted)
