transferring films to video
how would i do this.
i downloaded the newest only fools and horses episode the one from christmas and would like to put it onto video. what ways would i go about doin this

Get a graphics card with TV out.
Connect VCR to TC out.
Hit record.

As I'm assuming these are ripped DivX's or something (tssk) MacroVision shouldn't be an issue here unless your VCR is anally retentive.

Most TV-outs are S-video.
Thus, if your VCR has an S-Video socket then you're fine.
If it has a scart socket you can get S-Video -> scart cables.

Afaik there is no way to convert it to coaxial, so you need one or the other.

From memory, the pin layout for s-video looks like this:

Where the '.'s are holes and the '_'s are guidence slots. It's sometimes the other way up. Also, some equipment just uses a more generic socket which has holes all over the place, which an s-video cable will fit into.

MT is an unknown quantity at this point
they be dongles btw

You will also need a 3.5mm to 2 x phono cable for doing audio.

Either plug that into yours-video->scart dongle, or directly into the video.
