Strobe effect
Well I was just browsing around when I was linked here

Now after staring at this for around 20seconds I closed the window and my eyes went crazy.

Another interesting note, if you move your head back and forth like a spastic, then the outer side looks white whilst the centre looks black (when moving away), and obviously vice versa in reverse.
Pretty trippy. i like it (often these optical illusions dont seem to work on me. I blame my lack of creativity and imagination, really).
