HELP - I need somebody
HELP - not just anybody.


Im getting extremely fed up of this now. Here is my problem.

Occasionally in work, when the damn phone stops ringing (why won't these people just give up?) I get time to browse forums and post etc to relieve the boredom - now whatever software they use here at work - some websweeper program or something - will allow me to view all posts/threads etc.

But when i try to reply it gives me an error message:

HOW HOW HOW can i get past this. Note, I can reply to some threads, and as you can see, I can create threads.

Out of curiosity i tried www.anonymizer.com im guessing this would let me post a reply.....except it wants me to pay - it won't show the 'reply' page without becoming a member.

I have also tried
the-cloak.com
ID Zap
megaproxy

Some just don't work, others want me to pay before they let me use the Post function.

Hmm.
There are some downloads that alter these block programs, and then lets you do whatever you want, but it still seems to work fine, if the admins check it.
I cant remeber any links.
But we used it on a school once. (that was websense thougth)

just a quick addition

1) I can't un-install it, this is a works pc, it is not a program installed on my machine, it's gonna be some firewall type program so thats a poo idea.

2) It may well be peoples sigs, is there an option to turn this off on most forums?
If it is actually content of a post how can i get around it?
I remember once I think Dace had a thread with Mast000rbate in the title and until it slipped to page 2 i couldn't view GD at all without using an anony browsing site.
So apart from turning off sigs, any other suggestions

[Edit] Gayle beat me at pointing out how much of a rubbish suggestion un-installing the program was I would have been the winner but i've been writing this post for what seems like hours in the small 10 second gap when the phone stops ringing.

As it's analyzing incoming HTML the only ways I can think of are...

1. Use a secure connection (probably not realistic on a works PC)

OR

2. Set up an HTML proxy that replaces all swearing with ****

Unfortunately option 2 would probably involve writing your own
