Or do i have to download that piece of shit winamp again? I want to create a list of my music to leave myself open for ridicule.

What's wrong with Winamp (compared to Media Player, in terms of MP3 playback)?

Why can't you just use the playlist as a text file anyway?

I can do that?

Im just trying to create any list of my songs.

My main problem with Winamp, is on Random play, it plays things that have already been on in one session. Windows Media players random function seems to eliminate songs that have already been on.

Also i just like WMP. Not sure why.

You just put on Shuffle, not Shuffle & Repeat if you want to not get the same things. Unless I'm missing something.

And if you can save a play list (in .m3u or .pls format) it should automatically be in text format. Just open the resulting file in a text editor.

Sorry I'm vague, don't use WMP, and don't seem to have it instaled at work.

The shuffle isn't particularly brilliant, but if you don't want it playing the tracks more than once, why not just randomise the playlist and turn shuffle off?

heh I'm still using winamp 2.91

aside from the fact winamp 3 was a horrible piece of shit, I'm still not fond of 5 either as if I'm not mistaken it still uses that horrible overbloated media player style skins and visualisations etc. I just want a no bells and whistles MP3 player. Anyway, most of the cool plugins that exist for version 2 you can't get for any of the higher versions.
