Well, I seem unable to find where those planets were that were being deleted I guess. Virtually all gals look intact.

Mayby it is mostly full gals that have been deleted. But how do I find those. No gals with all planets deleted since yesterday.
Hmmm xx:xx look like a they lost several planets due to the CC fraude.

Mayby mostly farm/support planets and gals
You could pay your real planets with money and some cheat planets with a fraudulant CC and only the support/farms can get deleted.

Unfortunately credit card fraud takes place outside of Planetarion, and it's a real life crime, rather than simple cheating. As such, it's well beyond the scope of PA-Team to launch an investigation into these criminals.

It might have been worth checking if these planets activly supported some other 'legal planets' before they were deleted.

Not in itself, no; but then if you don't go looking for evidence of cheating you will probably have a hard time finding it (which actually seems to be HQ's approach).

Were I responsible for policing the game I'd certainly be scrutinizing galaxy mates of known cheaters and anyone else who might have benefited from their actions.

If X:X:X was closed for cc fraud and Y:Y:Y, a Top 250 Planet (whom was paid for legitimately)attacked X:X:X several times early in the round, later recieved defense from him once or twice, then later had him as an attack partner, and OH MY....also convinced X:X:X to do scans for him all round. Clearly no evidence.

Can PA's DataBase reveal these answers or not? I've heard many people suggest that old info from Tick#72 is still there and easy to review.

If it can't be done, well then, cheerios to the cheaters who merely got their crappy little farm planets closed which they stoppped farming weeks ago. They'll need someone else to do their scans now :/

Apparently even when evidence gets sent in, it doesn't always conclusively proof any form of cheating. Let alone that you have to monitor the actions of x amounts of planets.

Besides, do you want to hear that Round 10 is delayed for an extra month due to the Creators tracking down multi's now, who will undoubtedly sign up in R10 again?

I wouldnt say that actually proves they are cheating. Ive had people ive attacked early on a few times become friends after getting chatting to them and then received defence and other help from them as well as helping them out. PA is a community game and as such things like this will often happen and its what makes multi hunting hard

It's gonna be delayed for one two months anyhow, so why no add another month to find out who are the cheaters at least in the top100.

Yes, if they catch them now they can at least claim to actualy do something about it. If they are as lackluster as seems the case now they will only attract more cheaters and discourage fair players from playing the game because they don't like to be outplayed by cheaters every round.

So don't bother sending in evidence then?

If the creators can't walk and chew gum at the same time then perhaps we need more creators? Or else make multi-ing legal. The current mess is just a disaster.

That's the other end of the spectrum. The evidence that gets sent in does not always prove conclusive that there is a cheater at work, so more work is required to find out.

The current problem is that they are working on a completely new round, which normally isn't the case, so in that regard they are more busy than usual.

I agree that this round multi-hunting has been below par, but delaying Round 10 to investigate and delete a bunch of cheaters now isn't in their best interests either. Having to announce that Round 10 is not finished yet when it's supposed to, and that R9 is going to last another month isn't going to go down well with a large amount of people either. And as far as cheaters go, the damage to other people has already been done, seeing as the winning alliances are already there, and the 500k multi flak planets are useless to the big cheaters now.

I am not saying that they shouldn't be doing multi-hunting and deleting cheaters, as I know for a fact that they are working on it, but in my opinion, Round 10 has priority.
