What is Vortex?

VoRTeX is Vengeance, Rock, TFD and Templar.
4 of the small to medium sized alliances in PA.
Probably just over 200 players together.

Excellent roid targets, no arrogance intended but by tagging you just know you will get roids.

Well, this round was hardly a succes for vortex cause in the start of the round they were hit as much as vvomm. I remember at leat two days with 70% of all shared galaxies under attack and vitually no days with less than 50% of gals under attack.

Tagging won't hurt the roidscount cause any planet with decent roids gets incomings worth almost it entire galaxy anyways. Probably a lot of players are just sending def fleet everydays having long given up attacking (I know I have).

Also with newsscans the alliance with more advanced tools will have already linked all our gals together. Also most bashed alliances from early on like the vvomm alliances are mostly interested in killing small weetnar gals. Same for nar gals having more interest in killing weet gals. To most players a bit of revenche on a former hostile gal feels much better than foer instance improving their rank from 2500 to 2300.

That has been the tag for Templar for many rounds. Mayby you should understand that Templar is another word for Crusader and see a few of their banners that show those crusaders on them with their white shields with red crosses on them.

well i didnt know that templar is the meaning of Crusader, but afaik Crusader is a recruiting wing of Templar.
and as Hicks said, Templar tag is [+], so you think the X is refering to the Irc Templar tag?

Since I was 2,5m a while ago I am trying to grow smaller.

Actually I got a fever and even allthough I did know I had incomings I could not get myself from under the blankets again to send my fleets away. It is not that I care much so getting smaller is rather amusing

Just because you got roids from my planet in the beginning doesn't mean Vortex means easy roids. We were under heavy fire in the beginning (NaRWEET vs VVOMM/Vortex) and so it was almost useless to ask for defence, additionally I don't care that much about this round aswell but that doesn't mean that everyone else in our block and my alliance doesn't, I rather defended others than to go on attacks myself this round.

I didn't intend to say it was official but there was little choice, cause Vortex was the block that nobody talked about and so belonged to the rest of the universe being attacked (and by being organised thus had more roids than most other neutrals).

It implies there was an active effort from NAR/WEET to target you.

There were more NARWEET players than VoM players, so of course the rest of the universe was going to get some incoming, which would drop when NAR and WEET split up, because then they would target eachother for preference.

As I said, counting yourself over the rest of the universe, as that post implied, was an idea above your station.

We were neutral which didn´t really matter...
Because for WEETNAR we were same as hostile and got mass of incomings...
We didn´t had any relations with VoM in the beginning.
But who really cares...

Wether somebody tries to target you or not doesn't seem to a whole lot of affect on the amount of incomings...

(for reference: incomings on VOM after NAR/WEET-split)

The round was already over before it even started....

Everyone knows that there is no chance for VOMMV against NARWEET !

This round sucked really hard...it's just stupid to create "Blocks" with 4-7 alliances....that's no fun anymore

Make better politics next round: Perhaps-> 2 Allys as a Team but BLOCKS are crap for PA!

Good that VRTX is no real powerblock.....

It's not about # of alliances, it's about # of players. When you have more then 10% of the active players it's simply too much.

We were targeted because we got off to a successful start, so were probably suspected as being vvomm.

I was top150 and top50 gal before all the incoming, something i have never achieved at any time during my PA career.

Looking at my cluster, we have 4 ToT/Ecl gals, then 2 who didn't have anyone in at the beginning of the round.
