This i feel gives me the right to post this.

Sorry, I chopped up your post, but I'm just quoting the relevant bits.
You say things started going wrong mid round 7, and went out the window R8? Oddly enough midR7 was when my attendance started to drop off, and I wasn't able to attend R8 at all. Coincidence? ofc not!
If it all went wrong for you in recent times, then fear not. It's going to change. It's going to get better. Because I'll have a go at anyone who makes it worse. 
You mentioned that only the privilaged get defence. That was not the case when I was still around. If I saw a defence call come in I would raise merry hell until it was answered. If I find that is no longer the case, I promise you I will make it the case.
I may not be an officer, but I can still be a headache. I never needed rank to rally a defence :-). To those thinking about joining us, make sure you're willing to put yourself out for your fellow members. Otherwise just don't waste our time and effort.
If you want to know how highly I regard the people who make up ROCK, then here's all I can say to you.
No other group of people could have pulled me out of PA retirement but them. They are the single reason I've come back, and were the reason I never considered leaving ROCK behind. If I'm in PA, I don't want to do it without these guys.
The story of the ROCK is far from over.

As long as i am a member of Rock I never had problems either to get defence or to get a nice target to attack.
I made my way to Rock with my fabulous c40 mates of R7 and never regretted it.
Rock is one of my main reasons why i still play PA. (Really, who cares about being a lot of 1s and 0s in a DB? Hell, i do. And i even pay for that! )

As a former member of ROCK and p19 I'd like to add to some of the positive comments on this alliance, these guys are some of the friendliest and most helpful guys I ever came across in 4 rounds of PA. A very well organised alliance also.
Left ROCK only cos PA got too damn addictive
While I'm here - a big hello to Ugleb and Tyroka who had the misfortune to share a gal with me for a few rounds.

Drk-Assassin is greatly missed, but yes Recruitment is open again.
Tyroka and I are hoping we learned well from Drk and would love to get some great new members. We survived round 9 with the help of our wonderful members and are very happy to have some original Rock members back.
