Todays Downtime

Good Afternoon Ladies & Gentlemen, sorry for our delay on announcing these details. We would like to extend our apologies for the downtime today, this was caused by a bug in the combat engine with regards to XP. The game was backed up at 12.30pm (GMT) and then the 1pm (GMT - PT90) tick crashed mid tick.

Due to this and following the downtime procedure we put in place after last rounds downtime's we will be disabling logins and ticks for approximately 24 hours from the original downtime until logins re-open at 12pm (GMT) and ticks restart 1pm (GMT). As well as this all fleets will be recalled and the game will be rolled back to PT 89.

So to recap, logins will re-open at 12pm (GMT) and ticks will restart at 1pm (GMT).

The code from yesterday's bug fix to the combat engine was, unfortunately, not updated sufficiently and this caused the ticker to break. In addition, a non-critical ticker error has been found and will be fixed as soon as possible however, this will not affect normal ticks. We are also aware that players have reported getting double resources. After some investigation, we have found that all players will have received these double resources and so this will not be altered.

As this only affected one tick, we will continue the game with immediate effect and there will be no rollback or fleet recalls. Once again, our apologies.
