Brad Pitt.
Both extremely hot and a good actor. A mixture rarely found in modern actors, methinks.

Alan Rickman IS a god.
Also I have yet to see Morgan Freeman in a bad film. (People who now mention Robin Hood Prince of Thieves must take note that Alan Rickman is in that and it therefore qualifies as a good film)

For Morgan Freemans "Bad" films , see "Hard Rain" with Christian Slater. "Chain Reaction" with Keanu Reeves was also pretty damned poor , but was saved by Brian Cox , who epitomises good acting for me.
And whilst i like them, theres a real danger his Alex Cross movies could become very dodgy indeed. Reading the books , some of them are awful, and could translate quite badly.
Oh , and James Earl Jones .... try putting James Earl Jones and Ian Thomas Griffiths into IMDB or Google to come up with one of the worst movies ever. (heres a hint - the villian is played by Lance Henriksen , his sidekick by Tony Todd. Thats as bad a combination as youll ever find)

The theme of the thread is ACTORS who make a movie cool by their presence in the movie. Tarantino does not, as his previous actress girlfriends will confirm.
He makes cameo appearances in his own films because so few people will hire him as an actor.
