Re: What's your favorite beer?
I pick beer on my mood.
Guiness, Sol and Tiger are my favourite international beers, however my favourite is a New Zealand beer called Monteiths Celtic Red, and if they dont have that, Monteiths black, or Monteiths original.

Re: What's your favorite beer?
my favourite is pilsner or plizn or whatever the Czech spell it now (thats the original Pils). usually i drink Flensburger (you probably never heared of that before), but not because i like it so much but because my dad drinks it and im usually too cheap to buy my own beer.

Deuchars IPA
There's also a nice bananabread beer that Morrisons sell.
In pubs I pretty much always drink real ale or bitter.
At home I'll drink pretty much anything.

Don't really like most beer but Reverand James is quite nice, depending on my mood I don't mind Guiness either.

Re: What's your favorite beer?
I'm not sure that I have one particular beer that stands out as my favourite by far, but the following are beers that I'll be very happy to drink anywhere and anytime.
Palm Speciale, Murphy's Irish Red, Hougaerdse Das, and Hertog Jan.

Stella Artois is sheer camel piss. How anyone can say that's it's their favourite beer, let alone a moderately decent beer, is totally beyond me.
My favourites are Schneider Weise and Asahi. \0/

John Smith's Smooth in the pubs
Fosters if i'm drinking at home
Also, Stella is bad beer. I used to be a regular lager man drinking Stella but I got way too pissed way too often. And I also belive it's true about Stella leading to drink-fuelled violence.

Indeed. I think I have a bottle of that lying around somewhere.
I would say my favourite two 'widely availible' beers are Theakstons Old Perculier and Morlands Hens Tooth.
But my favourite beer? One that I haven't tried before.
(Stronger the better, especially if it's a porter!)

While I like that Urkel beer from Cz, and Carlsberg was the first beer I ever liked, and Corona (the stuff straight from Mexico and not the American produced kind) was a favorite for a long time, at this point in my life, I would say Modelo Negro a nice dark Mexican beer. Very tasty with Mexican food.

I first drank it on a school trip to Russia at an amusement park (rollercoasters + alcohol = ). There's a little bar in Cardiff called Toucan (I think) which does bottles of the stuff as one of its foreign beers, and it's sheer class. Anyone else here ever tried it? If you're going to Russia, make sure you have at least one pint of the stuff.

Paulaner, wheat beer from Munich, but I usually drink Franziskaner wheat beer because I don't have to pay the 16 percent value-added tax when I buy it from the American store here in Hanau. They don't sell Paulaner.

I was going to mention the fact that American heavies are the equivelant to our lites. It sure makes pub night interesting when you see Americans getting smashed on the first one or two bottles.

Re: What's your favorite beer?
In the local area where i work Stella is nicknamed 'wifebeater' by many so i guess some of them think it incites violence(personally i think its the person but nvm)
Always liked Speckled Hen myself but the area i live in is lucky to be blessed with some excellent small brewerys, bitter and twisted is one nice one and devon cream
erdinger is a nice international beer.

Re: What's your favorite beer?
Sarina = Tennants or Miller (draught stuff not bottled MGD) I believe.
Ninja = 1664/Nastro Azzuro/Tiger/Sol or 'Czech Lager' depending on my mood/availabilty, sometimes random 'foreign' bottles if im feeling fruity.
I prefer spirits to beer (Lager), I stay more sober with them.
