This Star-trek flat in Hinkley could be yours for only $1,000,000 bucks!

Dammit, I'm in work so all I get is "This page has been BLOCKED"
Wankers, damn restrictive IT policy. This is the problem with having an IT guy who knows what he's doing. Everything is sown up. Can tunnel out, cant access most pages.
Funnily enough, I can access this one. Maybe he's a closet PA player.
So let me guess about the flat. It's made like ten-forward in Start Trek The Next Generation?
Or is it even worse and it's the old Star Trek?

TNG style. it has a bridge and a transporter. if you need to know more, i suggest some form of lobotomy for being interested in such a thing.

I'm sure the novelty of that would wear off very quick.
*shudder*

I think it's a case of safety through obscurity. Planetarion has been added onto the "blacklist" of sites, but they didn't think of doing pirate.planetarion.com.

Normally if you can access a site that’s not work related once, the next time you go there it’s blocked. The system they have in place is a bitch. I think it’s more to do with the fact that the IT guy spends more time browsing forums himself than everyone on this god forsaken board do put together.
Yay for the nerdy IT guy! Actually I’m getting to know him a bit better, he seems the average geek type-guy, something like myself. I’m secretly cultivating this ‘friendship’ so I can exploit it later and gain access to sites \o/

If i was the guy who built that i'd glass myself in the face repeatedly in one of my lucid moments.

Re: This Star-trek flat in Hinkley could be yours for only $1,000,000 bucks!
i've seen this flat a few times on local news/dull programmes about home improvements. The owner has been trying to sell it since the day he built it.
Is it wrong to be very glad no-one will ever buy it, and that he must be in great debt/going mental?

I actually think it looks pretty cool.
edit : I wouldn't want to live in it obviously, as you'd never get to have sex ever.

You could probably rent it out to those who've always wanted to have sex on a transporter pad. Apparently, there's something of a market for that sort of thing; at least around here. :/

They've run tv ads in this area for years. I actually know someone who's stayed there, but I haven't had the, er, privilege myself.

The DOMINION!
And also whatever 'evil' race that wasn't introduced and was new and magic in TNG or DS9 or whatever that features in the big pile of plot holes known as Enterprise.

Or perhaps since he hasnt been able to sell it, he has forgotten about a profit or even breaking even and is trying to cut his losses.... But I still think it is under a million....
