Re: Battle calcs
My sources tell me that unlike every round previous, PA 11 will be different in that there will be NO accurate battlecalc.
However there will be at least 3 wildly inaccurate ones.
Here's your sign

Re: Battle calcs
I'll write one which is so inacurate you can take the opposite of what it produces and count on it to be accurate. Honestly.

they said that r10 yet, Lockhead and Kal made a bcalc that was reasonably accurate (although to be honest I HATED its layout )
There was also one that Blazde made for ely that was nice looking and when stats were released proved to be very accurate, as I recall xan big ships were slightly out but not by a major amount )

Re: Battle calcs
blazde's calc is pretty good - other than it has the same bug it had in round 10.5 - iots not a major one though.
there so appear to be some oddities in the new combat engine though - some strange things happening that perhaps shouldn't (or maybe should). But s|k's calc when upgraded to round 11 stats should be pretty accurate other than for the strange oddiities that sometimes occur. FAnG should be doing an updated version of this calc and releasing it publicly (but it will not be ready for the beta)

Re: Battle calcs
I'm new, but I'm not planning to use battle calcs or anything like that anymore. I've had too many bad experiences with them.
I was here in like, Round 4 and 5? Woah... that's a long time ago...

Re: Battle calcs
Latest battlecalcs are like 95 - 99.9% accurate, only bad experience you can get with them is if you use them wrong

Re: Battle calcs
The fact that his post is deleted says enough Indeed, took a number of days in R10 for an accurate Bcalc, but it was there soon enough.
edit: Ack Doorsdown, are you trying to blind the people reading the forums?
