Hmm, i always remember someone beginning a thread part way into the round to see how everyone was doing, thought i'd do the same, since nothing much is happening on these boards atm, would be nice also to see the variety of fleets out there...

Anyway, heres mine:

Ive been using my Medusa/Incubus to roid targets atm, usually other terrans or ziks with little/no claymores...

My round so far has mostly been swarms and swarms of incomings (32 fleets when I'm not particularly hostile towards any alliance is quite impressive IMO! )

And I've actually found that daggers can be useful Kept getting roided by caths, and not hurting anything of theirs, and since I've started building daggers, the number of caths to attack me seems to have gone down quite a bit Seems that many are not too willing to lose even 50 or so CRs for just over a hundred roids :/

Martok: True, but I'm also building glads. Makes it far easier to attack terrans/caths/xans, and far easier to def Terr and Cath.

Sure, as usual, it's impossible to block everything, but since I pasted that fleet I've received another 500 daggers and 50 glads (plus a few others). As usual, some big guys will be able to break through, but I can usually make them think twice!

200 gladious convert the amazing amouth of 23 stalwarts.....
A fleet with 700 CR (templar+paladin+vanguard) + 200 stalwarts is 20% cheaper than your fleet, would freeze almost all your fighters (all yoru daggers anyways), kill 400 frigs and cap roids for free. You still have a gigantic anti BS gap

And that's why I've just started building them

It's same in terms of defence. Terrans don't seem to have that many Ves, but usually enough to make it quite costly in terms of claymores (which you need in to stop it being costly in terms of fr ). Am just reaching 1.5k daggers and 3k scythes now, next up I'm going for 300 broads and 400 glads

and how many terrans have you seen that build vesuvius, not many....they just aren't needed as they do nothing for your fleet, unless you are in a random gal and receive incomings alot, which then, may deter some attackers...not many though, its a waste of resources imo.....

I started off as a Terran in a gal set up in ther very last hours before tickstart. Some even joined a few ticks into the game. Hadnt planned to play but oh well, I did it. The gal asnt all bad. It had many good members but we got attacked over and over. I decided that Terran was the crappiest thing ive ever played in PA and decided to delete my account. I did not leave because of us getting hit. Im used to that. Anyhow, my rl m8 had a credit left and they had some people in their gal with 400 roids(this was about tick 270) and they decided to exile one of them. Some of them were afraid I wouldnt be any better but now I am on 1100 roids, and I havent been able to attack much recently due to some RL stuff. Having started in tick 270ish, and now climbed to rank 300 or so. Im satisfied. Im aiming for a top 100 spot which shouldnt be hard at all.

Building Champions atm. The other cathaars in my gal have been focusing on Templars thats why I got that many Vanguards.

Terrans who have too many Vesuvii don't get attacked by me, if I'm just going for roids (ie not to irritate them, like my attack on you was for ) then I'm not willing to trade a bunch of about 30 claymores as well as my FRs for 80~ roids. Especially with the amount of incs I get (48 fleets so far ) meaning I don't keep roids for that long

If you are Zik, expect alot of inc, same as cathaar, not much that kills.. Attacking wise, zik is prolly the one race that can roid every other race the best, if you are on the losing side tho, you will need defence alot, but you can send very nice defence too in return

I've been doing CovOPs for a lot of time, then decided that my alliance was better off with another planet having a few ships for defence, so I got my MoD to donate me all those resources I had stolen from other planets and built a few ships. Ever since then I've been defending with most of my ships whenever help was needed, but the Elaphe were a waste.

Bit boring of a round, no inc since like the 2nd week of ticks start. Think the only interesting thing I've done all round since was dropping a top 50 NoS planet out of top 100.
