It's not particularly difficult. It's just a script that tells the PC to open the drive. Other than it being in IE, it's identical to pressing the button on the front.

Sounds like a hot patch that didn't register right when added. You can find the patch it keeps tell you about and use the download section (NOT windowsupdate) and that usually fixes it for me.
