I wish AOL would not send me things in the post!!
I don`t know if anyone else here has received the "new" unsolicited CD from AOL? (In a nice plastic case, complete with REG number and password described on the outside.) I have never informed them about my name and address. It also boasts another one month free trial, with "Improved Spam Controls" to help filter out unwanted junk mail! Sorry about this rant, I don`t know who else to say this to sometimes. It must cost AOL a fortune.

PS: I cannot see any return address.

It won't cost them a fortune or they wouldn't do it.

If you think of the amount of people who go for the "free one month" trial and forget to cancel.
They'll get an extra month or so out of people.

They are quite dear so they'll defiantely make their money back.

I remember I spent £400+ on a quarter with AOL, many years ago though ;(

Good god.

A few months ago i was desperate enough to make use of AOL's free 1 month trial. I then rang up to cancel and they were most disappointed so gave me another free month to try and prove to me how excellent their service is. After that i was moving back home so cancelled my account. Thankyou AOL .

AOL made it very hard for me to cancel. So I cancelled the direct debit and the got very arsey

My wife is into artsy-craftsy projects. The little disks make wonderful pallets for her to mix her material on. Saves me a fortune. Good on you AOL. Keep em coming.
