Gayle got Englished too.
I guess it's strictly English only (I agree, if it applies to everyone).
I was close to start posting in Quenya due to Mudshome's argument on GeekSpeak.

I wonder why people refer to gayle as "manly" or "butchy". Is this some sort off "im feeling so unmanly, so lets go tease some lesbian on a intenett forum for being manly?" type thing?
I know off several "panzer-lesbians", but galye dont seem like one off those from her posts. But then again, for all i know, she could be a 40-year old bald man.

And yes, your question raises interesting points.
I think a investigation (by somebody who have acsess to both parties) is in order.

Indeed, for all you know I could indeed be Bob, 52 year old trucker from Swindon. You could also be 18 year old Helga from Sweden

Maybe we should all just stick to using English only.
I'll start, by posting something in English:

Back to this thread...
What is going on with my siggy? I haven't changed it myself since the 'militant' part of this thread. Will someone please make up their minds or can we have a ruling from JJ?

You beat me to the bumping.
This is getting stupid. "Oh noes we can't read her sig because it's in Orcish, it could be about us".
And that's why you should check your PMs in about 30 seconds.

I'd be waiting for a ruling too.
I'm glad to be able to have Quenya in my sig, and I can even write some poetry there myself. It'd be a honor, as a TS member. However, I had some of it there once, and it was removed by some Admin (I believe, as it wasn't Kura), so I took that as the final word.
Though I'm a bit confused too.

That was English!!! Why on Earth was it edited? Doesn't anyone recognize Old English?
(No "edited by" note, so whoever it is that doesn't recognize actual pure English must have some form of admin access. Don't know how much that reduces the possible suspects.)
What I actually posted is the first paragraph of the story, which is in English, which can be found by: http://www.search.com/search?channel...ish%22+Beowulf, first result, then click on "Beowulf in hypertext".
http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=Beowulf
1 entry found for Beowulf.
Be·o·wulf ( P ) Pronunciation Key (b-wlf)
n.
An anonymous Old English epic poem believed to have been composed in the early eighth century, principally concerning the exploits of the warrior Beowulf and containing historical and legendary tales about the Geats, Danes, and other older Germanic peoples.
The legendary hero of this epic, who slays the monster Grendel and its mother, becomes king of the Geats, and dies fighting a dragon.
