Stat Makers Summary
Every round when someone different creates new sets of stats or tweaks all stats we should have a post from them stating the pros and cons of each race and what the stat maker thinks will happen etc. This will help new players understand which race to choose and why to pick them etc. But also it will also give people an idea from the creaters mind which can be a really good, worthwhile exercise.

I would assume that the stat makers think they're stats are balanced and equally playable.
Maybe JBG or someone will post and fill us in on what their goals are when they make stats?

Create a set of stats, implement them, come to the forums and advice on the races pro/con strategies, have a (yet another) boring round.

If he's done it right, he wont really say.. Xans have to go Fi but i put in FR for no reason. Zik have to go FR but they can also go CR but its crap. He'll explain why how the races interact with each other and how each race has a choice on what they do.

If i had a penny for every time i said this i'd be rich !
Stats are created for balanced play IF there are an equal number of each race, human choice creates inbalances, there is something to counter something else if you truly look at them, but if no-ones building that ship then then theres nothing to stop its agressor, if the creator of the stats takes into account a likely split of race choice and that proves to be a very inaccurate guess then you would still have an inbalanced round.
Stats really and truly can only be created for a type of game play, agressive stats for much roiding or defensive stats for less roiding, balance is in the lap of chance.
