FAnG have more than any other alliance trie round after rund to recover from a set back. Round after rund we have had something fk up for us. This round was as Leff said ours and we deserved it. the first round FAnG played, we showed we were significant (which the entire Fury command back then agreed to and congratulated us for). We played a good round and infact ended very well, given the last months events.

No alliance starts as a significant alliance. Maybe Eclipse did and 1UP does now, but that's merely thanks to their Fury background. In the early rounds, new found alliances often weren't able to be significant during their first round. I believe FAnG was significant enough r7, atleast that's what Fury and co gave us credits for.

and yes, I'm sure some of us are gloating abit. But isn't that what every winner does? When you win a sport event, you got to stand on the podium with a medalion etc. Isn't that simply made to gloat? Aren't the interviews afterwards made to thank the team, the competition and again state how happy you are about your own achievement?

so yes, I agree there probably is gloating involved. But I also thanked the allies and enemies. It's upto you lot to either think it's bullshit or believe it.

I was FAnG from the start and while I've not played R7 I've never known FAnG to be anything other than significant. Mostly they just sucked arse at politics and picking allies (or being forced who to go with) but early in every round when skill is a factor they excel.

Also bear in mind that at the end of PAX there was no FAnG. This current version was resurrected by the hard work of a few people and had more potential to be a Frankenstein's monster than anything else.

And anyone else who wants to bitch about this thread - I wonder how much you' d have bitched at the ingratitude of FAnG if they won and didn't thank the people who helped them along the way, including the enemies who make a game possible.

It's standard practice for agreements to end once a round ends. I'm just asking if such a thing is applied here. It by no means implies that Mistu and FAnG are going it alone next round nor committs them for anything together next round (if the rumours bear any truth!)

The longer Mistu wait with any announcement of any kind (or indeed to respond in any official capacity to Sid's proposal) the more likely rumours will be acted upon by other alliances (I again do not imply certain alliances in this statement).

Naturally, no decent alliance HC gives their plans away - but I didn't ask RealJames for Mistu's entire r11 gameplan or anything close. Just if agreements with FAnG were over (in accordance to what used to be standard expiration of agreements).

I never claimed to be in full knowledge of FAnG. After all, what 'outsiders' see is what FAnG presents to us, and that has not been extremely impressive. You can act as sorry and wounded as you like, yet at the end of the day I do not feel this win for FAnG has earnt it much respect at all. (That is MY opinion, and I do not force that opinion onto anyone else)

I apologise if you are upset that I do not hold the same opinion as you but this thread was created in the knowledge there are other free thinking beings on these boards.

As I said before, congratulations FAnG on your win. It was impressive to see the wreck of FAnG turn into what it is today and I do understand how difficult that can be.

PS: My apologies to you if you supported Sid's proposal, it just seems a majority of others are more interested in ways to circumvent it than to enter into the spirit of things.

Wether this thread is arogent or not. I'd just like to make a person adition. I ment to do this and never got round to it. While I didn't play this round due to personal comiments and will be unable to the next for similar reasons (not to mention it's all just to cutthroat for me these days, I'm a nice girl). I did play the 6 before and would like to thank the comunity as a whole. I'm a fury girl at heart and have meny good friends from there. I was mistu before it was 'MISTU the alience' and know the 'old lot better than they know them selves :P. But I had meny friends from all aliences and wanna thank the lot of you, it wouldn't be the game it was with out you guys. I would list some spieal thanx but won't for 2 reason.

2) I used to get so drunk that i forgot some of your names :P

Rumad is no longer HC and Heartless doubts he'll play nway. So I think the only FAnGer you should beleve official statements from atm is LB, and he made it very clear how we feel about Sid's proposal.
