Let me explain myself. If WP and Eclipse go to war without Ely's and ToT's intervention, and WP and Eclipse have more or less the same firepower, i foresee a roids interchange instead of one side winning massively roids. On the other side, there will always be fleet losses, while Ely and ToT get to keep their fleets more or less intact. NaR and VoM will try to get some of Eclipse's and WP's roids as well  . The situation between wp and eclipse has been a mutual escalation of tension with both sides maneuvering. No one is dropping anyone out of the blue in any way shape or form. As the post said, this is a formality. This doesnt in any way resemble the moves Fury made that youve harped on like the sick obessessed guy you are.
Eclipse could have done anything and your twisted head would mek it look like it was a Fury-like move.

Amazing how many people consider this a Fury thing. Fury always made sure where others stood in relation to things, or at least their leaning (I will let a c7r Exec correct me on this). If it had been Fury, we could have spent the next week or so arguing over authed retals and then finally things just coming to a head as we got fed up. Instead there have been hostile moves by WP responding justly by Eclipse.
There is a time when enough is enough.
It's no secret there has been tensions between Eclipse/Wolfpack for awhile now.

Sure there would be no equal war if it were only Wp vs Eclipse without any external intervention. But with all the other alliances hitting also Eclipse or WP you never know.
And it's exactly this back and forth period that may decide the winner of this round .
