rcon & perl

has anyone ever done anything with perl to use rcon ?

if so can you provide any samples or a decent howto? cant find anything decent on google

A search on CPAN came up with a perl module

If you want to do something a bit fancier, look at the source code for hlstats perl daemon - by setting the server to relay the logs (i forget the actual command in hl) you can act on actual events etc. Alternatively, look at metamod, not perl I know, but much more functionality etc.
