Faithless - live
I heard they could suck live. That if Maxi Jazz didn't have his day, it would be terrible.
However, yesterday.
They ****ed rocked.
Shouting We Come One with 25000 people is a good experience.
Good sound, good mix of songs, the classics and stuff from their new album.
All in all, mindblowing.
so, what gigs have you been to lately? And what are your experiences with Faithless...

Re: Faithless - live
seeing that not many even come to perform in romania, and when they do it's in Bucharest and i most likely can't afford it, i will keep sending out envy-driven negative thoughts towards all of you lucky pricks that get to watch bands such as faithless perform live.
only band worth mentioning that i've seen live was Depeche Mode, and........words can't describe(50k ppl wanting to see them for 20 years and finally getting the chance).
best bands/artists you have seen perform live?
how was it? why did you like them so much?
any ideea how prodigy would be live? them and faithless are kinda the "must see in this lifetime" bands for me.

Re: Faithless - live
Also, I had a ticket to go and see the White Stripes and they cancelled all of their gigs for the rest of the year. Gutted.

Re: Faithless - live
I saw Faithless this year at Global Gathering. Amazing performance, especially We Come 1 and God is a DJ.

Re: Faithless - live
Saw Faithless at Birmingham NIA in May this year (Third time I've seen them live), they did indeed rock, very different experience to the albums (Maxi Jazz really goes for it on stage!).
Saw Hed PE in my home town recently, good punk/ska band well worth seeing live.
Having just been to Reading festival recently I've booked up tickets to see Reverend and the Makers and UNKLE. Both of these were brilliant at Reading. Got tickets for the Chemical Bros too.

Re: Faithless - live
Haven't seen Faithless live, sadly, and haven't spotted them having a gig in Finland anyways. There is, though, next week, Infected Mushroom live here, and I'm sort of dying for that right now (the gig was already rescheduled once). Given it's a live gig (usually bands of this genre only have a DJ to perform it which is frankly "lousy" for gigs, but works for "clubs"), and they're going to the instruments live, it's definitely going the thing to see out.
The best gig I've been to so far must have been the latest Rammstein tour at Helsinki though. Riedl on a rubber boat above the crowd. I was in the front row, and while it was bloody hot and (****ing cold outside, as below -20c) I had quite a few bruises off it, the atmosphere was awesome.
