Whose actually going to play R10?
Im just wanting to see what the general consensus is. Is PA still worth playing? or is it just too much of a waste of time for so little enjoyment?
Are most alliances expecting most people to come back? or are they expecting a low turn out?
Im still undecided atm, but I dont know if I can really be bothered spending so much effort on something that seems like such a waste of time.
Anyone wish to convince me otherwise and that PA is still 'worth' it?
And are YOU going to play R10?

I think most people do, i believe most would be only playing for there alliance and not because of the changes, i can only really see the old alliances, more commited and been around since the start playing so i think we will still see old faces, with maybe some new ones, but i think it`ll still be the same as usual but i think it`ll be more much challenged this round and i assume most top players will hand around to see what the changes will be like.
I personally see myself staying around to see what changes go and to see if it makes this game anymore interesting, i will be deciding after rd10 wether to stay around or not.

Probably but I'm not absolutely sure.
I started playing several other games. And I'm not sure I would want to reduce my efforts there for a game like Pa X. I just don't know what to expect, so I aim for more games then just PA. I will need to prioritize sooner or later because my time is limited (you can only play one game right).
If it turns out the way I fear it will be, then it will be a waste of my money. I'll probably buy an account though. I enlisted in another alliance and I don't want to let them down beforehand. But I might just not be as active as the last rounds.
And it will probably be my last.

So generally PA lives on the community and alliances that it created when it was free?
I'm playing r10, even tho im negative to all the changes. Ill give it a shot, as ive been negative to other things that the creators didi, but ended up liking it.

I'd play, but I've got this little thing called matricular examination going on in September, so I'm swamped with school.
Maybe I'll give 11 a try if we're still on.

i'm not sure. i was very positive when i first heard about R10, but now this preview turned out to be yet another lie from pa-team (you can't test a game in one week, įnd donate money in time imo) i don't know if i'm willing to pay 10 euros for a game i don't know, in a universe that will be undoubtly smaller than in R9 even.

It just seems like most ppl have left over the few last rounds and the attraction to play a rd10 with a yet again smaller player base isn't that appealing.

Cant say that im overly fond of the way the "preview" is going to happen either, quite frankly it reeks, but i guess it will "force" some of the more competitive minded ppl to pay for r10 at the least, with the free universe having a size limit where the excess get lost in the transfer and all..
As for the topic at hand, thats why im not likely to pay nor play after the first 2 weeks.

I'm not going to play rnd10... I might hang around a bit in the free part of the universe to check it out, but that's it.
The prices are too expensive for a service that isn't guaranteed a certain lifespan (ie: you can't tell how long a round lasts) and thereby, I have a school to attend. Playing PA isn't going to help me do that.

I'll sign up
wether after the free trial period I'll actually play or not depends more on my finacial situation at the time payment is needed than anything else.
I just got the bill for the first month of daycare for my son, and compared to that PaX is cheap.

I really don't understand people like you, how can you compare a beta to a real round?
PA has been made to be 'fun' for the majority of players by their alliances and abilty to play the game because ticks are an hour long.
Those that are quitting because they don't like beta are not sampling the new round at all. I'm not saying R10 will be fun, I am simply pointing out that judging it by a 2 minute tick beta with less than 200 players is a bit shallow.

I can compare the beta to the real round with ease.
After all, in previous rounds beta's, its not like we had huge changes.
[edit] I also enjoyed the other rounds beta's.

Maybe you were one of the poor people that were upset that this beta actually required testing to be done, thus meaning you weren't allowed to treat it like a free speed round.

No, I'm one of the poor people who saw the game they loved desacrated.
PAX is about as good as a crappy clone now, and theres no way in hell I would pay for it.

If Fury came back im pretty sure id play to some extent, eclipse to me just seems like a Fury clone, and doesnt have the same atmosphere and reputation to give it the 'feel' that I had come to love.
For me, pa was all about the people, but it seems that so many people have moved on and given up. The community just isnt there anymore
Although in saying that, ill play if I get my GF4

For me, pa was all about the people, but it seems that so many people have moved on and given up. The community just isnt there anymore
Although in saying that, ill play if I get my GF4

Why would it have to be fury?
Maybe a new start for PA would could offer you a new start in another alliance?

Are most alliances expecting most people to come back? or are they expecting a low turn out?
Im still undecided atm, but I dont know if I can really be bothered spending so much effort on something that seems like such a waste of time.
Anyone wish to convince me otherwise and that PA is still 'worth' it?
And are YOU going to play R10?

I'll let you bash my planet again like good old times if ya play. And this time you actually are ALLOWED to bash me as we aren't allies etc

I know that feeling. I couldn't care less about the actual game or even my planet in it, I'm only working for the FAnG community and PA is just one of the games we play.
So that's my job, whether it's for PA or lazy larry Suit 7 xxx etc I don't really care
