I would have thought that if the prehistoric Germans were going to spend years and years carting tons of stones around and building an enormous shrine, they would have done it in Germany. But maybe thats just me.

Stonehenge obviously was built by a coöperating group of people that concisted of lots of nationalities.
And although the proud tribes of Europe had exchanged astronomical, theological and technical knowledge long before and on many occasions, they were great themselves nevertheless for uniting to build such a great testament to European engenuity and inventivity.
Let's all follow the example of these superior European men and renew old bonds to lead Europe into a new era where milk and honey are limitlessly available.

have you ever travelled on the M25 during rush hour? i dont give a monkeys if its a picture of satan himself when viewed from space. its evil because you sit. moving 2inches every 10-20minutes for several hours. with HUNDREDS of other people.
however
the M6 is far worse now. :-(((((

anyway, historians love to call various documents 'of dubious accuracy', but in general just about all such things have a historical basis.

That's an old legend.
According to the legend, Uther Pendragon, father of King Arthur, was ordered to build Stonehenge by his brother Ambrosius Aurelianus, king of the Britons. Merlin 'worked' for Uther Pendragon.
Arthurian Mythology is 'ace'

The Welsh might get pissed off if you call Wales France again.
Arthur was first mentioned in the Annales Cambrai, and there is very strong evidence for someone along the lines of Arthur to have lived sometime around the early 500s. The real Arthur was likely Ambrosius Aurelianus, a Briton, who in the legends is his uncle.
