How do you type?

Personally i use both hands to the full.

Koen seems to type with like 3 fingers or someting.

Anyways i think that's gay in the extrememe.

Was just wondering who was the freak etc.

Turns out I mainly use my middle three fingers to type (especially index fingers), either thumb for space bar (usually right) and my lil fingers for shift.

hey waits a second...do you mean koen only uses 3 fingers on each hand, or three fingers total?

I actually seem to nine-finger type, with the left little finger hung out to dry (right little finger for shift/enter/etc).

And it seems that that is pretty standard around here.

normaly when i'm typing i'm laying on my side on my floor with my head resting on my left hand. so i end up typing with just my right index finger, which as you can imagine is rather slow. however, i'm now sitting on my couch watching The Hunt For The Red October so i'm typing with both hands. my right first and middle fingers are used for the right side of my keyboard and my left first and middle used for the left side. the left little or third finger is used for Shift and the right little finger is used for return. i also use my right middle finger and index finger for backspace and space respectivly.

EDIT: yes, i have to look at the keyboard MOST of the time, however, sometimes i can manage with just looking at the screen

70 wpm COPY TYPING no need to look at the keyboard unless I'm using obscure punctuation which I haven't familiarised myself with on an american keyboard.

my gf is over 100 words per minute ffs COPY TYPING at that.

When not copy typing we are faster.

I then use the delete button to create legible sentances. Mind you, this I do with 10 fingers.

I use all my fingers on both hands and can "touch-type" no problems, but not the official way.
That is, I don't use (or even know) where the "home keys" and all that shit are, I just put my hands in roughly the same place on the keyboard every time and my fingers seem to know where to go.
