My Pooter no work, it go Boom :(
Thread title says it all. My £2000 computer just randomly shut itself down, and now refuses to turn back on. The power light clicks a few times as it attempts to start, but nothing happens.
Thought?

Heatsink loose?
Mobo ****ed?
PSU bollocksed?
(Other component) (other colloquial verb meaning 'broken')?
The only one that's easy to check is the first one, if you've got no access to other components or don't want to poke around inside too much.
[edit]
Warcraft III requires an 8Mb graphics card and a 400MHz processor.
I think it'll work on your lappy.

Maybe it was from the early 90s and hence the expense and also hence the breakdown!

Fuse blown in plug? Does your monitor still work? Swap power cords over from monitor to comp.

P4 3.06Ghz Processor
120 Gig 7800 RPM HD
Radeon 9600
1 Gig DDR
Custom Case
CDRW/DVD Combo drive
etc etc
And the fact that the PSU supplies about 10 different areas of the computer instead of the basic Mobo connection kinda screws me a little looking for a loose or broken connection/lead.
Well, at least i took out 2 years onsite warranty.

Wait, I thought you were Portuguese, not Egyptian.
How do you pronounce "Sup" in an Egypto-Belgian accent when living in Portugal?

P4 2.64 GHz
235 (Formated) SATA RAID 0
ATI 9800 Pro
1 Gig Dual Channel DDR 400 Mhz RAM
Didn't piss money on custom case to avoid ricing factor
CD-RW/DVD+RW
SB Audligy 2
and its still runing and cost a lot less then your machine. I win.

Indeed
That said, your geographical location causes you to lose by default regardless of other circumstances on this board

This thing (including £300 TFT monitor) cost less than that a year ago, and it's still better.

Re: My Pooter no work, it go Boom :(
When my parents comp melted down what i did was switch it off at the wall take out the plug, wait 2 minutes then plug everything back in and switched it on.
Suprisingly it worked.
Have you tried doing this Kura?
