photoshop / paintshop: having a side gradually "fade" to a certain color
I've been fiddling around with photoshop today, but I've run into a little thingy I cannot figure out how to pull off.
Basically I'm making the top bar of my site, and I'd like to have the right side of the bar gradually fade to white to make a nice transition. How can I do this, in either photoshop or paintshop (as I have both).

Intervention is an unknown quantity at this point
In photoshop the gradient tool can be found in the little menu thing under the fill 'bucket' tool. iirc, that is.
