can you help me? (jobs stuff)
does anyone know anywhere online which has examples of good covering letters? all the jobs i have applied for i have just had to do the application form, but this one want a covering letter as well, and i dont want to **** it up, so, looking for examples, any advice/good sites to look at?

get get04/05 from any careers library. www.monster.co.uk also has a range of articles.

Covering letters aren't that important. CV content is much more important.

it doesnt have a CV, it says CV or covering letter in support and i really dont have time to do a full CV, whereas a covering letter i can do quite easily, i just need to make sure that i get it right

well rough areas you should cover are rough educational attainment, experience relevant to the role. Your personal skills relevant to the role and why you feel you are suited to the role.

You will possibly need as much detail as a CV anyhow. I would say a CV is possibly easier to construct. If you need help I can give you a little now I have handed in my resignation
