my own christmas present

Hi all,

i want to buy a new book, but tbh i have no clue what i should buy.
I know i like SciFi, Comedy, - a good mix of both like "hitchhikers guide"...
if you really really liked a book of a other genre, dont hesitate to post it

has anybody a suggestion for me?

thanks

Re: my own christmas present

i. the algebraist by iain m. banks was the last sci-fi book i really enjoyed.
ii. hocus pocus by kurt vonnegut was the last fiction book i really enjoyed.
iii. do androids dream of electronic sheep is a sci-fi classic you may want to read if you haven't already.
iv. terry practett's discworld books mix comedy with fiction. i find those books particularly relaxing to read. i find it hard to recommend one though because they are a series and there are arguments that you should start from the beginning. not that i did but i'm hesitant to recommend the same course of action for your mushroomed cerebellum.

Re: my own christmas present

Catch-22 by Joseph Heller is my personal bible. If you haven't read it (which I doubt since everybody who enjoys books already seems to have) I'd surely advice it to you, it's kind of satirical phfilosophical humor, atleast that's how I experienced it.
