[football] FA cup
Utd should have won and to an extent threw it away, but the chants of USA! USA! USA! had me cracking up.

ARSEnal were lucky to win that, if you think that penalties is a fair way to win a cup of course.

Re: [football] FA cup
Its the fairest way under a tight time limit. Arsenal were lucky but tbh Utd should have finished them off. Utd threw it away.

Absolutely. My exact words after the match were: "Hold on. I want to see Cristiano Ronaldo cry." *camera pans to United players* "Here it comes..there! He's crying. Look at him cry! Cry, Cristiano, cry! Also, please die."

Re: [football] FA cup
Arsenal was lucky to win (and you fellas now Im a gooner).
Most players was quite awful today, way below normal standard.
Senderos (f******** awesome) and Lehman was the only two of Arsenals players who impressed me today.

Re: [football] FA cup
Part of me wanted United to win, because my housemate (The Sold Trafford ST holder) has gone, and I know how shit I felt on Thursday, but I really, really don't like them so most of me wanted Arsenal. I really don't know how Ljungberg kept that out.

Re: [football] FA cup
We won, we won \o/
What's funny is that I left home at 2:30, set the timer on the DVD-Recorder to record the programme from the 3pm kick-off as I would be spending most of the day up London. I still am, currently in the John Lewis store using their wireless internet service on the 5th floor (bloody murder finding my way out so I've returned here to post this). Me and my fellow people were actually just browsing around the gadget section on this 5th floor when we saw on the TV's the last 10 mins of the match so we went and sat down on these really comfy sofas and watched the several large ass plasma TV's in front of us with the surround sound on. Was brilliant The store managers and workers didn't mind us just sitting there. Cool bunch. [/endplug]

We are top of the fair play league, and its not like we elbowed someone in the face, then two footed dived in from behind on a guy and didnt get booked now is it?

Top of the fair play league means nothing, given that only 1/4 of it is for actual discipline. It also doesn't take into account things that aren't punished by the ref immediately, like diving!

Re: [football] FA cup
It's quite ironic that Arsenal should win the FA Cup in such a lucky manner, given that Wenger stated that Liverpool were luckly to get to get the CL final.
Manchester Buccaneers should have won, they were far the better team, but if you don't score in 120 minutes, then you can't complain too much.
I hear that they set up a special hotline for disgruntled fans trouble by this seasons form to ring up. The number is 0800 10 10 10.
Calls charged at peak rate for overseas uses.
Once again that number is 0800 won nothing won nothing won nothing

nah, I pos-repped all the Arsenal supporting people but then it said I have given too much out
then I received a nice hefty pos-rep which made me green and then a few people decided to neg-rep me but made little difference *touch wood*

Re: [football] FA cup
was at the pub, full of students. Was a wonderful mix between us Arsenal supporters and Man U. We ended up making a deal with some of them, that whoever lost would buy the other supporters a whole bunch of drinks.
They ended up having buying 47 drinks for us before they decided they couldnt afford it anymore

Re: [football] FA cup
I went to the pub at 12.00 yesterday, with the sole intention of getting absolutely piss drunk, and watching the cup final, and then going out clubbing after.
I dont remember much of the game, infact, I dont remember anything of the game, we won though. From what I recall, it was just me and a mate who were gooners, surrounded by yids and manc scummers, I think we still made the most noise though.
After the match, I then proceeded to get even more piss drunk, when my mates sister turned up at the pub and told me it was her 21st, and we had to go out clubbing. Now, you'd think my mate would have mentioned this to me, so I could have got her a present / shafted her to celebrate, he hadnt.
We went clubbing, I believe we left the club at around 2.30 in the morning, from there we proceeded back to mates sisters place, with around 12039423472736462 other people, and started to drink, heavily.
After a while it got a bit shit there, so 10 of us proceeded back to my mates place, which is bigger and had more alcohol. Now from here things get really hazy, I think I spent most of the night trying to get my end away with the barmaid who works in our pub, I didnt suceed.
Most of us stayed up drinking all night, the 'challenge' was to see if we could make it back down the pub at 12, for a full 24 hour drinking session. Two of us made it, I was one of those, everybody else greened out early.
After having two beers in the pub, I realised I was completely and utterly ****ed, and called a cab. I arrived home at around 2ish, went straight to bed, and I have just woken up.
Oh, apparently we won the FA Cup too.
