A friend of my mums gave my dad a job notice type thing to give to me.

It was for short term staff (from now till mid January) doing basically the job i do at the passport office but in another government department.

What with me having security clearance and a lack of a job and various other things this would have been perfect for me.

My dad tells me about it tonight at dinner about a week after he was given it.

The job applications were available on Monday to be recieved by the personel department by Wednesday for interviews today (quick turnaround which would have been another bonus).

Apparantly my dad "forgot" about it which i find incredibly ****ing difficult to believe as both my parents are always on my case about getting a job.

When i point out how much he ****ed this up for me he pouts about how he isn't my secretary and i should handle my own mail and such like.

I am now in an incredibly rabid mood (and just thought i'd share).
