Clothes Label Name
If you could name a clothes range which is deemed to be slightly exclusive - ie: Gucci, Evisu, Versace etc. would what you give it? I'm doing a case study on why English branded clothes don't do so well, and the adverse effects of the name being British on its sales compared to that of a foreign name which seems to do mcch better.
So, do you have any suggestions which aren't British?

Re: Clothes Label Name
foreign names tend to sound exotic and different.
this is typical anywhere in the world. Americans want european things, Europeans wants american things, Asians want western things, Westerners want Asian things etc..
as for names?
ralph lauren, tommy hilfiger, louis vuitton, prada, dior, ysl
paul smith and fcuk come to mind for british names

Assuming you arent differentiating between Britain and America, then Paul Smith and Diesel (although they obvioulsy arent in the same league as Armani/Gucci)

Re: Clothes Label Name
Tommy Hilfiger, Cottonfield (by Carly Gry), Ralph Lauren, Lacoste ... they are all exclusive now however, if I was to start 1 brandname now it would be
TomFord or DeSolo

Gives a shit about what? He said in the first post it was a case study about buying habits, so I assume someone cares. If you mean people who prefer continental designers to british ones, then you might have a point (although many people probably prefer continental designers because they think their clothes are actually better, rather than because 'italy is cool and stylish' or whatever)

Re: Clothes Label Name
Gives a shit about the label that scratches into the back of your neck and rubs your nipple up the wrong way.
Seriously, peoples grand idiocy when it comes to buying designer goods is why the wrong faggots make fortunes.

Expensive clothes generally look nicer than cheap clothes.
