Not entirely correct, we probably have missed some out and added some other planets (farms, scan planets, friends) to other alliance who were attacking and defending with said alliance.

We had an overview like this on our site, thanks to ado, every day. I personally preferred looking at the top 100 on roids, as that was just void of hostiles a lot of the time, with a few exceptions.

Yes that's right....things were never played out...so I'm wondering what Fury was planning on doing to change things? Undoubtedly as the results stood, LDK/Titans were in the winning position. However, the conclusive "we won, no-one can take this from us" status that you're reaching for isn't going to happen (unless the round magically restarts obviously...).

As PA rounds head towards their end, the pattern of the game changes somewhat - you sometimes get political shifts, sometimes just individual or galaxy rivalry or even just mass of deletions. I agree that LDK/Titans looking at it, probably would have still won given another month (ish) of PA. However, this doesn't mean you did win. The round ended prematurely and thus you were robbed (to a certain extent) far more than anyone else. Obviously I expect the flaming to go on ad nausea, but this certainly isn't an uncontested round. Oh well, it gives you all something to argue over.

p.s. Has anyone got any stats (or even vague guess) about how long the creators have given players in terms of warning to the end of the round in previous rounds?

We will never know if LDK would have turned on Titans , Virus had a run of luck , everyones else formed a coalition to destroy the top 20 planets for hte last few weeks .... or what ever else.

Offically the scores are void for a PA round win - thats just the way the cookie crumbles.

You don't get many people more loyal to fury than me.

I mean even I knew LDK and Titans were winning, Fury made some mistakes, some misjudgements etc. I am still a proud member of Fury as I have been since round 5. I've been on the winning side in rd 5 lossing side in r6 (but what a come back) winning side in r7 and if we consider this an offical end of round 8 then not the winning side of round 8 but also NOT the lossing side.

It does not take a genious to understand that on a tech note, cryptic may be right, there will always be a star in the record books beside this round. So be it. /me puts a star beside titans and ldk's names. Done finished over with.

Do I think Fury would of come back? NO. Do I think it's possible that somehow the top 250 could of changed if the other alliances got organised and activity up, YES. Reason being although it's completely differnt than RD 6, RD 6 gives me reason to believe it would be possible.

LDK I consider in low regard. Most of what I know about them is obviously 2nd hand, but it is my perception that they don't play fair nor always pay using legal means Not that all of Fury are knights in shining armor mind you.

Titans, I've been watching Titans for awhile and I would of never of thought they would of been able to perform as well as they did this round. So pld to them, they must of got extremely streamlined or aquired some very mean talent.

oh and too EOL, Since I was in the lead to the top 250 before you does this mean I won? The round did end before you could have me ****ed I know, but hey I WAS AHEAD.

On a side note I was almost in the top 250 planets and fury climbing everyday and had started to gain roids for the first time in a couple weeks starting 5 days before the round ended. Not that my situation dictates what was happening in all of Fury but to me it looked as tho with the addition of WP/Ely/NoS at least I was gaining strides towards the top 250 (2 days tops) Not to say that wouldn't make me a prime target for ldk/titans either.

Offically the scores are void for a PA round win - thats just the way the cookie crumbles.

First I would like to say that Titans and allies are not like Fury, we don't backstabb to be #1. This victory is a team victory, no need to be #1 to win if one of your allies is.

Second point. This round is a flawless victory for me because Fury got soooooooo owned, and nothing can change that. Maybe you will find some reasons to say that Fury is the winner even if I can't see any but the number of idlers in your public channel...
Oh by the way how many Fury players defected? I guess it's more than for Titans and allies. Everybody but you can see the truth, even your x-members: YOU LOST BADLY!!!

Titans was designed from the off to play better in a random uni than in a private one.

And yes, you won our little race. The round ended prematurely, but heck, it ended. Would I have catched you? Maybe, don't know. The numbers weren't that clear - you were ahead, but I had a definite advantage due to the very numbers that sparked this thread. It all becomes a 'what if' scenario. I don't care to speculate about it - things are a lot cleaner when you stick to reality, and not aircastles hanging by thin thin straws.

You'll have to remind me what you won - iirc it's in a pamail, and I don't have access to that atm ;-)
