for his info, it wil take about a week or less to get an appointment, DONT go to your GP, as then it will appear on your records whereas clinics are totally confidential
Then it generally takes about 2 weeks for the results

how do i know this you say? because i know someone who works in the local clinic, and has some fairly disgusting stories about it

just phone the clinic and make an appointment

some clinics will have a phone in the morning to make a same day appointment thing going on that means you will have to call at about 8am and keep hitting the redial button until you get through
some wont and will book you in at a convenient time

will take a couple of weeks to get results
it is confidential

(i work in a hospital btw, there is a sexual health dept on the other side of the city which is how i know)
(havent been a slapper since my teens (before i got married))
